Minor in Health, Well-Being and Religion
MinorMinor in Health, Well-Being and Religion
We are excited to begin offering a new minor in Religion, Health & Well-Being starting in Fall 2019. The minor in Religion, Health & Well-Being is designed to help students develop an understanding of the connections between the areas of religion, heath, and well-being.
This minor consists of courses currently offered by the Department as well as a new course (Health, Healing and Religion: Comparative Views) especially developed for the program. This minor will appeal to students from across the University who are interested in how religion informs ideas about health and well-being broadly defined. Upon completion of this program, students will have explored ways that concepts like healing, health, and well-being have been understood historically and cross-culturally.
